On Friday evening Dean got all spiffed up and ready for his big date with Sam. He kept waiting for something to go wrong all day and to his surprise and utter delight nothing happened. No one randomly showed up at the house with bad news, Ollie didn’t get into mischief at school, and Michael had a paparazzi free day at Yale. Not only was everything awesome with the kids, but James had packed up and moved out and instead of running from her problems Carol was back and more than willing to try therapy.

Dean was a little bummed about James leaving, but since everything else was going perfectly he could deal with one little upset. He already had a good long cry scheduled for Saturday but that would have to wait because he was going on a date with a dreamboat and no one in their right mind would do that with tears in their eyes. Dean was really looking forward to it and he happened to know that underneath his flat front pants Sam was wearing a jockstrap which meant they had some extra special plans after the party.

The party, as Dean understood it, was just a casual get together. Jensen had said he was pretty sure it was a cocktail party and if the food sucked or the company sucked they could always just grab dinner somewhere in the city. He didn’t have any reservations so he made sure that Dean was bringing Sam so he could do that whole power bitch thing where he walked into a restaurant and pimp slapped the hostess until he was seated. Dean was of course bringing Sam because they were both way too interested in the mysterious Sean and Dan. Sam was almost positive they were evil and had packed a piece of the silver just in case he had to kill a bitch.

Dean honestly didn’t care if they were evil. As long as they didn’t try to kill anyone he was going to thank them for the invite and then have a beer. He really needed a night out with Sam especially after last week’s disappointment. Confidentially Dean was pretty sure he was gonna score before the night was over as well. It wasn’t just because Sam had on the jockstrap, there was also a couple tons of stone sitting along side the garden and the path had been completely torn out.

Sam supervised the whole thing and the workers in charge of the project had gone home exhausted and terrified. It was actually kind of hot to watch Sam manage such a large crew and more than once Dean wanted to tackle him but he kept himself in check and reminded himself that they were staying at a hotel in the city and could be as loud and messy as they wanted to be.

Dean wasn’t just having a night out with Sam, the kids were going on their first official sleepover with Michael and Alex. They were just thrilled about it because they hadn’t used their bedroom at his house yet and Alex had lots of activities planned. Ryan was going to be there as well and John was going to be right next door which Michael told Dean about five times. The first four times Dean had no idea what John had to do with it, but then he realized Michael and Alex were watching the babies overnight for the first time. Dean wasn’t even worried about it at all because they both loved Michael. Milo was head over heels for him, and Mary was pretty easy going. If she did start yelling about something all Michael had to do was remind her it was date night and she was going to be just fine until the morning.

Before they left for the city they dropped the kid’s off at Michael’s house where Alex was all ready for them to make homemade pizza. It sort of made Dean want to stay behind and he was a little jealous because the kids all had aprons with their names on them. They didn’t even have those at home which made Sam glare the fear of God into Alex. He probably should have beat on him a little but they didn’t have time to do it correctly so Sam made Michael promise to at least slap his butt a few times. Because they were making pizza and watching movies and playing games, the kids didn’t care one bit when Dean left with Sam. They got some kisses, but Ollie didn’t say anything about Dean being faithful while Milo and Evan didn’t yell about Sam leaving. They were just perfect, everything was actually perfect, maybe a little too perfect which should have tipped Dean off that the night out most certainly wouldn’t be staying that way.

Sean and Dan lived just three houses down from Jared and Jensen and right next to Amy and Auden. Dean was really tempted to check on them and spend some time with Wystan, but when he called to see if that was okay Auden answered the phone like he had just been shot in the face. He was groaning and moaning and Dean really thought he had the flu or something but it was actually much worse. Amy’s parents were in to see the baby and Auden didn’t want his friends to suffer like he was. Dean thanked him and then decided to steer clear. Amy’s parents were nice enough but they still kind of rubbed him the wrong way. Her dad always smelled like scotch and cigars and her mom was obviously trying to pickle herself since she was constantly drunk.

Sam was fine with not seeing Amy and Auden as well because if he spent some time with Wystan he was sure he’d want to skip the party which was the entire reason they were in the city. Wystan was just a cute little guy and he was apparently very well behaved. Auden always said how quiet he was and that he never woke up screaming in the middle of the night with any regularity. Amy liked him as well but she only really spent time with him when he was being fed and most babies enjoyed that.

Dean hadn’t been to Jared and Jensen’s house since before the wedding. It had been quite a while and they had obviously been working hard or at least someone had been working hard to get it fixed up. The wood floors had been kind of scuffed and faded, but now they were stained darker and just as glossy as glass. The living room was all painted and they had brand new very neutral furniture. After eight years with Sam, Dean knew they probably could have used a bright accent color, possibly turquoise but it still looked really good. He didn’t know who the decorator was because it looked like both of them. It was masculine without being dark and just trendy enough without being over the top gay.

Sam was equally impressed with the makeover and Jensen just had to show him the new kitchen or at least about half of the kitchen. It had been a little outdated and while it would have been cheaper to just get new appliances Jensen really thought they should just gut it and start over. The new cabinets were all black and the tile had been replaced with a glittering mosaic of pale glass. Jensen said they were still undecided on the countertops, but the new appliances were all going to be stainless steel. It was absolutely beautiful in there even in it’s current state. Sam loved it and Dean did as well. It was a nice change from their own kitchen which was very traditional, but then it had to be because the house was older than James.

After the brief inspection of the house Sam gave his approval which Jared and Jensen both really wanted. Dean wasn’t upset that they didn’t need his approval because decorating was sort of Sam’s thing. If they asked him how to eat toes he was going to get a little pissed off and backhand both of them. It actually seemed like baby toes weren’t that far off because the house was coming along nicely and Jensen had mentioned New York becoming their permanent home since they hadn’t been back to California in a good long while.

From one house they went to another and even Sam’s decorating sense was a little astonished. Dean didn’t know who opened the door once they knocked, but the house behind him, what little house there was to be seen, was pretty much incredible. Sam still won because he had three beautiful homes, but Sean and Dan were right up there when it came to fabulous homo houses. Everything was just perfectly coordinated and very clean. It looked a lot like Amy and Auden’s place but Dean wasn’t uncomfortable at all. Amy ran a house like a museum and Dean was always afraid of sitting on something in the wrong way. Sean and Dan’s house looked like a museum, but one that Dean could kick back in.

As beautiful as it was, Dean still thought something looked a little strange. The front door opened into the entryway and there were more doors to the left and right. Both those doors were shut which was sort of weird since people would most likely be wandering around at a party. Still, homos as a group tended to be a little fussy so Dean assumed that Sean and Dan were corralling their guests in the living room.

“What an honor!”

“Sean, this is John and Dean.” Jensen said. “John, Dean, this is Sean…oh and here comes Dan.”

“We’re delighted you could come!”

Dan was coming down the stairs in the entryway taking them two at a time which looked a little dangerous considering how tall he was. Sean was sort of cute and short, but Dan looked like a freaking giant and Dean assumed he was a total bitch most of the time because Jared was tall and totally the world’s biggest bitch.

“Thanks for inviting us.” Sam said as he shook their hands. “This house beautiful.”

“Thank you, John.” Sean said. “You’re sweet.”

“Sean designed everything!” Dan smiled. “From the wallpaper to the rugs under your…Oh, are those the new Prada boots for Fall?”

“Actually they are!” Sam said as he twisted his ankle. “They’re not out yet.”

“Gorgeous.”

“I got mine from Macy’s!” Jared said as he shoved past Sam. “See!”

“Oh, you sure did!” Sean clapped. “You’re a big boy, aren’t you!”

“Yes, I am!”

“You are a big boy!” Dan gasped. “You’re just the biggest big boy ever shopping for your own shoes!”

“Hey!” Dean laughed. “You talk to him like he’s a retard too?”

“Like?” Sean asked. “I don’t…Oh, Jared, don’t pout, you’ll get wrinkles. I know I told you the Botox doesn’t hurt but don’t make it worse.”

“I’ll make you cookies if you put on a big boy smile for me!”

“Dude.” Dean whispered. “They’re awesome.”

Sam nodded back and then right in the entryway they got to know two people who were obviously going to be their very best new friends. Dan was a lawyer and actually just got a job with the same firm where Sam’s dream team worked. Sean had just signed a very big contract to get some of his merchandise in big department stores and he was in the process of looking at a couple of places in the city to open his own store. They were just the nicest and most normal people Dean had ever met, which again should have alerted him that something was very wrong.

As it was he was so dazzled by their new friends that Dean didn’t realize anything was wrong until he felt Sam’s pinky stroke the side of his hand. At first Dean just thought he was being affection but then he looked up and saw the confused look on Jensen’s face. He was standing across from them and while Sean told a story about his new line he was stroking Jensen’s back to which Jared was oblivious to since something shiny had distracted him. If Dean was doing that to Jensen in mixed company it wouldn’t have been that big of a deal because they had been very close friends for nearly as year. Jensen and Jared had only known Sean and Dan for a few weeks and most of that time was spent out of state working on the movie. They were friends, but maybe not lovingly stroking friends.

“He’s beautiful.” Dan whispered to Dean. “Don’t you think so?”

“Uh, Jen? Yeah, he’s hot.”

“Sean really likes him.”

“Danny, what are you saying about me?”

“Nothing at all. Shall we all have a glass of champagne?”

“I’d love a glass.” Sam nodded. “Thank you.”

“You four can go into the living room.” Sean pointed. “We’ll get something to drink and some little things to nibble on. Make yourselves at home.”

“Okay!” Dean smiled. “We’ll do that right after we admire this painting.”

“Oh, Ricky did that!”

“Neat!”

Dean didn’t really care about the painting done by some wannabe Mikey, he was more concerned with getting some distance from Sean and Dan so the four of them could discuss how creepy it was to stroke a Jenwen. Dean also had the distinct feeling that he was about to step into a trap because something just felt wrong. He was waiting to bring it up until after Sean and Dan had left through the doors on the right, but before he got the chance Jared opened the door on the left and then gasped before covering his eyes. Jensen was right next to him and after he looked into the living room he did the same. Sam actually pulled out his trusty silver knife just in case and then dropped it to the floor once he was peering over Jensen’s shoulder. Dean was going to have to see what the big deal was, and if there was some kind of crazy ass big baddie blood ritual going on he was going to kill everyone.

Of course the big baddies rarely invited people into their homes and when they did they most certainly didn’t serve champagne and there were never cute little waiters walking around with appetizers. On the surface it looked like any party Sam might have thrown, but that was only if Dean was able to ignore the two dozen or so naked guys fucking each other all over the living room. Also, when Sam hired waiters for parties they were usually in tuxedos and not naked as the day they were born.

“Dude.” Jensen whispered. “Are we at an orgy?”

“What the fuck do you think this is?” Sam asked. “I can’t be seen here!”

“Did you two know this was an orgy?”

“Of course not.” Jared said. “They just said to come over and we could all have a good time.”

“Then they were really excited when we asked if you two could come.”

“I can’t be seen here!” Sam said again. “I can’t!”

“What’s the big deal?” Jared asked. “I think we can just watch.”

“Dean…”

“Okay, Sammy, let’s just make an orderly exit and maybe no one will see you.”

“Are you better than us?” Jared asked. “You can’t be seen here?”

“Yes, I am, Jared.” Sam said. “I’m a Pulitzer prize winner, Dean’s a Newbery winner and a children’s book author. We can’t hang out at orgies.”

Sam was quite literally about five seconds away from a full blown panic attack. Not only was an orgy something he just couldn’t be involved with because of who he was, but if he ever ended up in politics that was the first thing people were going to bring up. Jared didn’t seem to get it and he was obviously a little offended that it was so beneath Sam, but Dean completely agreed. Orgies were just not their cup of tea and they were most certainly playing with fire for two respected authors.

Dean was sure that someone in the room looked up from the cock they were sucking and saw Sam in the doorway, but most of the people were completely occupied. To avoid further people seeing Sam, Dean pulled him out of the way and then closed the door to the living room. Jensen was clearly uncomfortable as well, but Jared looked upset that they had just locked him out of the toy store.

“Do you want to stay?”

“Are you kidding me?” Jensen asked. “No.”

“Oh. We can just watch.”

“Jared.” Sam said. “Listen, you don’t want to get involved with this in any way.”

“Well see, I don’t see anything wrong with it, they’re all adults.”

“You don’t see anything wrong with it?” Dean asked. “How does “Oscar Winner Jared Pappadecki caught at gay sex orgy” sound on the front page?”

“Oh…Oh! Okay, I see where you’re coming from.”

“You really are retarded.” Jensen sighed. “Let’s get the hell out of here.”

They were almost out the front door after the world’s shortest cocktail party when Sean and Dan came back into the entryway with glasses of champagne for everyone. Dean was really thinking about punching them because they had to know that Sam sized big shots did not attend orgies. If they wanted to have orgies that was fine with Dean, but you didn’t just invite a person without telling them what was going on.

“Is there a problem?” Sean asked. “Jensen?”

“We have to go.” Jensen said. ‘Uh, we weren’t aware you were having this type of party and we’re not interested in that.”

“Well, this is embarrassing.” Dan whispered. “I’m so sorry. We thought you knew.”

“Obviously not.” Jared laughed. “We’ll just be going now.”

“We keep things very confidential.” Sean said. “No one will say anything.”

“They better not.” Sam smiled. “Because if I hear one word about this you will…”

“Outside!” Dean yelled. “Come on, let’s go to Nobu.”

The last thing they needed was for Sam to piss someone off by threatening to put their head on a lance. Dean was amazed that Sean and Dan actually looked upset that they were leaving. They couldn’t honestly have thought that Sam of all people would just kick off his britches and stick his cock in whoever happened to be nearby and actually that was a lot more feasible than someone like Dean Johnson being at an orgy. Dean presented himself a daddy through and through. He was a father first and good dads just didn’t participate in group sex.

Thinking that made Dean wonder where Sean and Dan’s kid was, but he must have been having a sleepover somewhere. No matter how fucked up Sean and Dan were Dean doubted they’d have their son upstairs with the nanny while everyone was sticking dick downstairs. Dean wanted to ask, but he wanted to get Sam out of the house even more and that wasn’t really enough. For Sam to calm down they had to walk three houses over so no one driving by would know where they had just come from.

“What the hell?” Sam asked. “I didn’t know people still had orgies!”

“I didn’t know you thought you were so much better than me.”

“Jared, if you get caught at an orgy it’ll be in the papers and everyone will forget next week. If we get caught at one…”

“I get that, I’m just saying.”

“They didn’t know, Sammy.”

“I know.” Sam sighed. “I’m sorry, I just…I don’t think I could handle having my face all over the paper with the headline “Hot Gay Sex!””

“Bareback.” Jensen whispered. “Bareback sex.”

“Really?” Dean asked. “I wasn’t looking that close.”

“See, that’s even worse.” Sam frowned. “And sort of gross.”

“I’m sorry we ruined date night.” Jared said. “We didn’t mean to.”

“You didn’t ruin it.” Dean laughed. “We’ll just start over with dinner. That’ll be fun.”

“Are you sure?”

“Positive.” Sam said as he put his arm over Jared’s shoulder. “Come on, I’ll pay.”

Dean was starting to think that maybe date night wasn’t meant to be, but there really was no reason they couldn’t start over. The party had been a bust and a little fucked up, but Sam could get a table anywhere in town. That was the new plan they made and Dean knew that dinner with two friends was a hell of a lot more pleasant than fucking with twenty-four strangers.

When Sam thought of dinner out in the city he always imagined crisp white table cloths, designer cocktails, and food that was ridiculously overpriced. He was looking forward to a nice quiet dinner like that but then they let Jared pick where they ate and he dragged them to a very loud, very busy Chinese buffet that had no table cloth or cocktails and it was all you could eat for ten dollars. Sam really couldn’t have been less impressed, but Jared was happy, Jensen didn’t seem to care, and Dean just loved to eat. Sacrifices would have to be made and Sam did see a few things that looked okay including an impressive sushi bar.

Sam was a little disappointed that he couldn’t get a nice stiff drink, but they did have beer so he got himself one and took a long swig before he even got up to get some food. He sort of felt like he was in the middle of a very strange dream since he honestly couldn’t believe he had just been a guest at an orgy. Sean and Dan both seemed so normal, but obviously they weren’t. It really made Sam wonder what other kind of secrets people around him were keeping and if they were as scandalous.

There was a young couple one table over and while Sam sipped his beer he tried to figured out what they were like behind closed doors. He didn’t think they were hosting orgies, but then he didn’t think that about Sean and Dan either. It was just so weird that right down the street from Amy and Auden’s there was an orgy going on and not just any orgy a barebacking orgy which was just the most irresponsible thing ever. Sam couldn’t even be amused that Sean had been so interested in Jensen since the whole thing just made him feel a little filthy.

After giving it another minute of thought Sam shuddered and then went to see what he wanted for dinner. Everyone else had taken off as soon as they were seated and Sam didn’t really trust Dean alone at a buffet. He’d have to keep an eye on him which was more than a little amusing since if Mikey was there Sam would have been fine with him picking out his own food.

Sam found Dean elbow deep in a gigantic pan of chicken and vegetables. That was actually a nice healthy choice and Sam was about to praise Dean until he saw that he was picking out big hunks of chicken and leaving the vegetables behind. That was one strike that Sam could ignore, but it also meant he was watching Dean a little closer. The second strike came when Dean found a pan of bacon and cheese covered potato skins. The buffet was mostly Chinese food but they did have some other stuff which Dean apparently loved since he got six skins on his plate before moving on.

The plate looked like a little food mountain and when Dean made strike three Sam finally cleared his throat and shook his head. He did it when Dean was just about to cover everything on his plate with sweet and sour sauce. He looked so adorable when he got caught and tried to pretend like he didn’t know what he was doing. Coincidentally it was the same look Ethan gave Sam when he’d catch him pushing a chair over to the pantry to see what was hidden on the top shelf.

After getting his own plate Sam got a couple pieces of sushi, some salad, and a little bowl of soup. There was an impressive selection of fresh fruit and dessert so he wanted to save some room for that. He was a smart eater unlike Dean who made a sweet little piggy out of himself. He wasn’t going to have room for dessert and he’d probably be too full to do anything else after dinner. No one realistically needed a plate of food that full and they most certainly didn’t need three plates that were even fuller.

When Sam got back to the table Jared was already there hoarding over his three plates like some sort of deranged and demented food Czar. He actually looked a little frantic with wide eyes and an open mouth. He probably had a spoonful of everything on his plates and it was all mixed together. He looked happy enough and he never seemed to gain weight so Sam didn’t say anything and he sort of turned in his seat some so he wasn’t facing him and wouldn’t have to see him eat.

Jensen, who only had one modest plate and could actually talk, had obviously been waiting for some peace and quiet. It wasn’t really peaceful or quiet around them, but everyone had kind of settled down. Coming Out Day was just a few days away and he wanted to make sure that everyone was still coming and that nothing had changed which they were and it hadn’t. The plan was to meet up in the city and then they could all go together to give their speeches.

Sam had just finished his speech last night and he thought it was pretty good. It wasn’t his best, but it was good enough and he was really only there so people could see him. He wasn’t there to change the world since he felt like he had done enough of that. He was still going to lend his support though and he was actually more excited about it than he had been.

Dean wasn’t done with his speech yet, or rather he wasn’t done with his short list of points he wanted to talk about. He had tried so many times to write a formal speech in paragraph form but he just couldn’t do it because it wasn’t him. He worked better with a loose collection of ideas that he could throw together on the spot. That’s what he was best at and Sam was really looking forward to hearing how all his little notes translated into a speech.

Jensen had devoted a solid month to writing his speech and he was still fine tuning it whenever he had a spare second to look over it. Jared was very impressed with it and so was everyone else that had read it. Jensen shared with a couple of very close friends to get some feedback and they all said it was very well written. He was a little nervous about speaking in front of such a large crowd, but he knew he could do it.

He was really excited about the whole day because it meant so much to him and apparently everyone at the HRC was just thrilled with Sam’s involvement. They thought that he’d bring a lot more coverage than they normally had and more coverage meant that their message would go a little further and help a few more people. The thought of that actually made Sam really happy and then Jensen had to go and mention how the announcement on the HRC’s website had nearly crashed their server.

“Excuse me?”

“When they posted that you were speaking.” Jensen said. “Someone picked it up and then it was all over the place. They’re predicting more people than ever before.”

“I told them I didn’t want it announced.”

“Well, yeah, but that’s kind of silly, isn’t it?” Jensen asked. “More people are going to show up if they know you’re there.”

“I thought the plan was that I’d just be there for the people who were already coming.”

“Oh, see they asked what I thought and I assumed you meant that you didn’t want like a press release.”

“Does it matter?” Jared asked with his mouth full of food. “You’ll go, be gay and glad, tell mom and dad, and then go back home.”

“I…I guess I didn’t want it to become the John Michaels show.” Sam said before he laughed. “It doesn’t really matter.”

“It’ll be great!” Jensen nodded. “They’re so excited, Sam.”

“Yeah, me too. Um, are you working for them now?”

“Yeah, sort of volunteering when I can.”

“That’s great Jensen.” Dean smiled. “It’s good to have a cause.”

“I thought so.”

Sam smiled and nodded before picking up a piece of sushi to occupy his hands. He didn’t like that Jensen had made a decision for him and Sam was also pretty sure he made himself perfectly clear about any press before the big day. He didn’t want people to know he was going to be there and Jensen knew damn good and well that John Michaels didn’t need any press release. If that named popped up someone was going to find whatever story it was attached to and run with it. Sam didn’t want to think that Jensen was that conniving but he had to have known what was going to happen if one website said John Michael was going to be in attendance.

“You okay, Sammy?”

“Yeah, of course.” Sam nodded. “How’s the movie going?”

“Exhausting.” Jared laughed. “And very tense. For some reason everyone walks around on eggshells because they’re afraid of getting fired.”

“Well, sounds to me like the makings of a good movie.”

“We’re going to start filming at the studio next week.” Jensen said. “Do you think you’ll stop by? Both of you?”

“Definitely.” Dean smiled. “We can’t wait to see everything.”

“And maybe I’ll actually get to see Anthony.”

“He lives next door.” Jared said. “Are you not seeing him regularly?”

“I’ve seen him twice since we got back from Paris.”

It was probably actually more like four times but Sam didn’t care. He missed his best friend and it was so much worse because Dean was doing all sorts of fun stuff with Alex. Anthony had been there for Mikey’s party and he was over at the house one day after that but Sam had barely spent any time with him. Every time he tried Anthony was busy with one thing or another. Almost all of his free time was spent either preparing for the movie or doing something in relation to the movie. He was doing interviews and photo shoots and it seemed like he was probably working more than Jared and Jensen were.

A big part of that was that Anthony wasn’t turning down any offer to say something about his role in the film. If someone called with questions he was ready with answers. Jared and Jensen didn’t do that because they didn’t have to. They had a fan base established and all those people were going to see the movie whether they promoted it or not. Anthony was the new guy and he had to pay his dues if he wanted to make it as an actor. He kept saying he just wanted to do Supernatural and Jabberwocky Stockpot, but Sam was pretty sure those were just the beginning.

With the new books coming out in January, Sam was going to have a lot of work to do and he did want to promote The Futurists a little more than he normally did. He hated to admit it to himself, but it was very likely they were going to need a new assistant. Sam knew he could keep their careers in order by himself but it was so much easier and less stressful to let someone else do it. He wasn’t looking forward to letting someone else into their very private little circle, but it was probably unavoidable because Anthony had left a pretty big hole in their lives.

“He’s really busy, isn’t he?” Jensen asked. “I’m sure as soon as the movie’s done he’ll be around more.”

“I know, I just miss him.” Sam shrugged. “He’s so excited about it. I can deal with missing him when I see how happy he is.”

“He’s going to be amazing.” Jared said. “But you know aside from the movie being really hard work, we’re having a great time. Rob’s awesome, crew’s awesome, and we’re all keeping on their asses to make sure it’s as true to the book as possible.”

“Well.” Dean said as he raised his beer. “To single manly tears.”

“Cheers!”

Sam was going to have to do something nice for Jared and Jensen because if it weren’t for them he would have been so worried about the movie. In a way he was more worried about Supernatural than he was about Strength and he didn’t really know why. Strength had sold better and it was a lot more personal, but Sam was really invested in Supernatural. He had horrible fear of the producers or the director talking his fantastic story and shitting all over it. He didn’t want that to happen and luckily Jared and Jensen were doing their best to make sure it didn’t.

After Sam took another swig of his beer he put it down and then looked up to notice a guy standing a little too close to their table. He couldn’t have been much older than eighteen and he looked thrilled out of his mind. He wasn’t a fairy, which Sam could tell just by looking at him since he didn’t give him a boner. He wasn’t an angel either, and Sam didn’t think he was a telepath or some other kind of psychic. By the process of elimination Sam decided the man was a fan but of whom remained to be seen.

Dean’s fans tended to be a lot younger, usually dressed in overalls, and accompanied by a parent. Sam’s fans were as a whole older, more psychotic looking, and not nearly as composed when in his presence. Sam ruled the boy out as a fan of his and of Dean’s so that meant he was either a Padaphile or a Ackleholic. Apparently there were differences between the two but Sam couldn’t really see any. Their fans tended to stay quiet for a second and then they’d scream just as loud as the could since the fan community seemed to be working under the impression that Jared and Jensen were hard of hearing.

“Hi!” The boy waved. “Hello!”

“Hi.” Sam said. “How are you?”

“Hi!”

“Hi.” Dean laughed. “Can we help you with something?”

“Hi!”

“Jeez.” Jensen whispered before he turned around. “Hey, we’re just trying to…”

“Ahh!”

“Ackleholic.” Sam whispered. “He needs to go to Ackleholics Anonymous.”

“Sammy.” Dean whispered back. “Jensen Ackles is nothing more than the piss poor version of me.”

“And you’re more of a top.”

“I heard that!” Jensen said. “Hey, can you stop screaming directly in my ear? I’d be happy to…”

“Ahhh!”

Since it was a Friday night the restaurant was pretty packed and several people were looking over. Sam didn’t really get the whole screaming thing but it was really amusing. Jensen handled it like a real fucking pro and let the boy get his screams out before he very calmly asked for his name. He was so excited that Sam didn’t even hear what his name was. It was either Jason, Brandon, or Grayson and it may have still been something completely different than those three.

Sam liked the name Grayson the best so that’s what he decided his name was. He was there with his number one girl who was so clearly his Amy. Every gay guy needed a hag to make him feel good about himself and Grayson’s was obviously a pro at her job. She talked him down, managed to stay calm and even handled the autograph and the cell phone picture. Jensen was a much better person than Sam was because if anyone had started screaming directly in his ear he would have backhanded them into next week.

After he left Jensen straightened out his shirt and went right back to eating like nothing had happened. Jared hadn’t stopped eating the entire time, but he did look over and cock an eyebrow in Jensen’s direction. Sam did the same thing and Dean looked way too proud of himself. Having some cute young thing throw himself at him was probably an everyday thing for Jensen, but Sam still wanted to pay it the respect it deserved.

“What!”

“You old dog!” Dean said. “He’s totally going to whack it in the bathroom to that picture.”

“He was kinda cute.” Jared said. “We can take him home and break him in.”

“I think he was a little young for us.” Jensen sighed. “I told you that Michael’s the only teenager I’ll make love with.”

“My big boy.” Dean said as he held his chest. “Is two weeks away from no longer being a teenager!”

“Oh God.” Jensen whispered. “I better step up operation “Not your daddy.””

“Is that what it’s called?” Sam asked. “Inventive.”

“He wants me so bad.”

“Uh, no, he wants me, but I’m his daddy so you’ll have to do.” Dean said before he paused. “It’s like how you sleep with Jared because I have Sam.”

“Oh…I see. Oh! That reminds me. We got our costumes for the auction and we don’t want you two going as the same thing.” Jensen said. “And if you do have the same costume then you’ll have to change because we don’t have time to pick out new costumes.”

Not only did Sam not have a costume yet but he hadn’t even thought about it. The kids usually picked their costumes and they hadn’t said anything yet. Ollie was quite insistent that they get him a bee costume because he wanted to be a Beanie Bee, and Justin and Alex were going as Batman and Robin, which was just hot and bizarre. Michael and Ryan were matching their costumes, but apparently it wasn’t something they were telling anyone yet so Sam assumed they were going as cheerleaders.

“What is it?” Dean asked. “You phoning it in and going as Clark and James?”

“No.” Jensen whispered. “Jack Twist.”

“And Ennis.” Jared said. “Awesome, right?”

“More like Jack Nasty!” Dean gasped. “Well, Sammy, we’ll have to change our costumes.”

“Yeah, that’s uh… “ Sam laughed. “We’ll find something else.”

“I heard a rumor that you two have all kinds of costumes.” Jared whispered. “Any truth to that?”

“A pirate and a basketball player, that’s all.”

“Auden said Optimus Prime.”

“Pft.” Dean scoffed. “Yeah, right.”

Sam’s pirate costume and Dean’s basketball uniform were really just the beginning but no one needed to know about that. Most of the time they were just happy as themselves, but every once in a while Sam slipped into a little something more comfortable like crooked cop or naughty sailor.

“What are you grinning about, Sammy?” Dean asked. “Something naughty?”

“No, I’m just enjoying our night out.”

“Can you believe we went to an orgy?” Jensen asked. “How exciting was that!”

“Let’s make a pact to never talk about that again.” Sam said. “Seriously, I may be emotionally scarred.”

“Me too.” Jared said before he burped. “Oh…Jen, my belly hurts!”

“Aww!”

“Must have been something I ate.”

“Must have.” Sam laughed. “Sick.”

Despite a tummy ache and a screaming fanboy it ended up being a pretty decent dinner out. Sam was a little pissed off at Jensen but that wasn’t any big deal and it certainly wasn’t something he was going to let ruin his night. He was determined to keep on having fun while he patiently waited to get Dean alone at the hotel since he was hot in a costume but so much better in his birthday suit.

Sam was just fantastic in bed when he really got into it. He was normally pretty damn amazing but every few weeks he’d let go and just make Dean’s entire body sing. He knew every inch of it inside and out. It was definitely the best possible way to end date night and if they kept having fun in bed like that Dean was going to see if they could go out twice a week instead of just once.

After they were done having sex Dean actually fell asleep for a while because Sam had exhausted him. It was still too early to really call it a night so it was essentially a quick nap so he could recharge since Sam always had another round in him. If Dean was lucky he thought they might even have sex two more times since date night was a pretty special occasion. They didn’t get out much and when it happened it deserved to be celebrated.

When Dean woke up he rolled onto his stomach and searched the bed with his right arm. He was hoping to find Sam so he could pull him over but the big comfy bed was empty. He hated waking up alone after such fantastic sex, but they were in a hotel room so he wouldn’t have to actually go looking for Sam. Dean sat up in bed and scanned the room but Sam wasn’t there so he had to be in the bathroom. Dean was about to call out for him to get back in bed and give him kisses but he heard Sam’s voice. It was so faint that Dean had to strain to hear what sure as hell sounded like singing. Dean sang all the time regardless of where he was or who was around but it was rare for Sam to do it, especially so quietly.

It took Dean a few tries but eventually he regained use of his legs enough to roll out of bed. The room was a little chilly so he wrapped himself up in the bright white sheet and then shuffled to the bathroom. The door was open but Sam only had on the heat lamp which made everything red. It was a little creepy and Dean didn’t like seeing Sam cast in red like that though he still looked amazing. He was standing in front of the mirror and his lips were still moving but he wasn’t making a sound.

The singing had stopped but Sam was still doing something because his right hand was over his heart. He seemed to be admiring himself which was totally Dean’s job. Sam was obviously pretty pleased with himself because he had something that looked like a smile on his face. It wasn’t a proper smile but it was close and it definitely looked satisfied. Dean stood in the doorway for about a minute and Sam just kept staring at his reflection and tracing a spot on his chest with two fingers.

“Sammy?”

“Oh, hey.” Sam said as he looked over. “Did I wake you?”

“No. Were you singing?”

“To myself.” Sam smiled. “Is it just me or is it freezing in here?”

“It’s a little chilly.” Dean said. “Is that why you have the blood light on?”

“Yeah, I came to pee and then I thought I’d take a bath. It’s nice and warm in here now.”

The bathroom had a rather large tub in it and if they didn’t take advantage of it, it was like they were pissing money away since surely it affected the cost of the room. The bathroom was more than just warm it was downright toasty and Dean had no problem dropping the sheet from his shoulders and walking over to fill up the tub. It was still a little creepy in there which Sam rectified by turning on the lights over the sink. Things still had a red cast to them but it wasn’t as deep as it had been.

“Does your chest hurt?”

“What?”

“Your chest.” Dean pointed. “You were rubbing it.”

“I uh…I thought I had a bruise there or something, it was a little tender when I woke up.”

“Did I bite you, maybe?”

“Oh, maybe.” Sam shrugged. “It’s okay, nothing a nice hot bath won’t solve.”

Dean was basically completely out of his mind when they had such amazing sex and it was entirely possible he had either bitten or at least scraped his teeth against Sam’s chest on the way to a little nipple play. He didn’t remember doing it but he checked anyway just to be sure. Sam’s rock hard chest was as perfect as it always was so Dean gave it a little kiss before taking his hand so they could both sink down into the incredibly hot water.

They took baths together at home all the time but those were never really as relaxing as they could be. Whenever Dean was just about to completely go limp someone would be yelling something from downstairs and while the kids were always supervised he’d still worry they got into something or had hurt themselves. Not only had the hotel afforded them some top notch nasty time but there was a sign on the door reading do not disturb and Dean had nothing to worry about except Sam’s back against his chest.

“Now this is date night.” Sam sighed. “Dean, I had a really nice night.”

“Even with the orgy?”

“Even with the orgy. Are you as creeped out by it as I am?”

“A little.” Dean laughed. “I guess they just seemed really normal and orgies just aren’t normal. I wonder if Jared and Jensen will still be friends with them.”

“That’s not awkward. Sean wanted to fuck him.”

“Well, who doesn’t?”

“Granted, but none of us have actively pursued it.” Sam said. “I’m wondering if it makes them bad parents.”

“I was thinking the same thing.”

Obviously if what parents did behind closed doors didn’t affect or involve the kid then it had little to do with their abilities as parents. Dean was sure that Sean and Dan were probably great parents, but they were still hosting orgies which made him feel a little conflicted. He realized that was only because he’d never host an orgy and neither would Sam and comparing themselves to other parents was more than a little unfair.

Everyone did things they didn’t necessarily approve of or wouldn’t have done themselves. Justin was just fine lighting up a joint at the end of the day once Charlie went to bed and Dean would never in a million years consider that while the kids were in the house. Even when they weren’t in the house it wasn’t something he could bring himself to do. Charlie was turning out just fine though because Justin didn’t smoke in front of him and he didn’t talk about it either. Because it was Charlie Dean assumed he knew but he obviously didn’t care.

While Bruce and Anthony were doing an fantastic job with their Charlie they were a little too uninvolved with Nathan for Dean. They let him go off with his friends every weekend and sometimes he stayed over all weekend. Dean was never going to do that with the kids because not only did he want to see them but he was never going to impose on other parents. Still Nathan was getting older and Anthony was probably just trying to give him a little independence.

Obviously out of all the little things Dean noticed having an orgy was the worst, but when Sean and Dan’s kid came back home they might have gone right back to being the world’s most traditional parents. There were probably stories before bed and nice warm cookies after school. There was a good chance Sean and Dan just let their hair down once in a while and Dean couldn’t blame them for that. He couldn’t even really blame them for the invite to the party because they probably had said it was an orgy and poor Jared was too stupid to realize what that meant. He was about as dumb as a box of hair which made Dean frown while he washed off Sam’s chest.

“I don’t think so.” Sam said. “I mean if the kids was upstairs with the nanny then yeah, that’d be fucked up.”

“Yeah, you’re right.”

“Were you uh…” Sam said before he chuckled. “Were you tempted to stay? If we were different people, you know.”

“You mean if we weren’t famous?”

“Yeah.”

“No, I wouldn’t have wanted to stay either way.”

“Why?”

“Because, Sammy. I have you, why would I want or need anyone else.”

Even though Sam wasn’t facing him Dean knew he was smiling. He had his arms around Sam and he could feel all his muscles shift every so slightly. If Dean wasn’t with him and had never known love like he did with Sam he might have considered hanging around at the orgy but even that seemed unlikely. He was sure all the people playing together were friends and clean but he really felt they should have been practicing safe sex. That argument aside even with condoms Dean wasn’t really that interested in it. What he had with Sam was better than all the quick cheap thrills in the world.

“That’s sweet.”

“I try.” Dean laughed. “What about you?”

“Well, I do like watching.” Sam whispered. “I’m not sure I’d participate.”

“We should throw an orgy.”

“Yeah?” Sam asked as he looked back. “We should?”

“Yeah, except no bareback sex…or! We invite everyone over and when they walk in we’re just doing it.”

“If our friends walked in on us doing it, it would turn into an orgy quicker than you can say two dick occupancy limit.”

“Jensen would be in my ass in a second.” Dean frowned. “Mostly because he never tops.”

“Can you blame him?” Sam asked. “Ugh, if I was with Jared I wouldn’t be sticking my cock in his ass. I’d be afraid I’d poke a buffalo wing. He got a plate of ice cream and topped it with slices of pie!”

“You know he just eats like that so my Bunny won’t poke him. I used to do that.”

“Why’d you stop?”

“Because you feel so fan-fucking-tastic, Sammy.”

“Mmm. Does he really never top?”

“Never.” Dean laughed. “He said like once a month.”

“Wow, that sucks. If you ask me taking it up the ass is just about the best thing a man can do.”

“Is that so?”

“It sure the hell is.”

“Well, maybe we…Oh, something’s got me under the water.” Dean said. “Something that seems a little too determined.”

“Have we met?”

Dean knew what Sam was going for but he wasn’t sure it was going to happen. They were in a halfway decent position for a little nasty no-no and Dean of course had a boner since Sam was naked, but getting that boner where it so desperately wanted to be was going to be a little tricky. Dean tried to help out some since he was used to handling large equipment but Sam wanted to do it by himself and as always he eventually succeeded.

Since Dean was inside he was all set to nail Sam into next week, but when he started to he was quickly and quietly reprimanded. Sam didn’t want to get right into it, he just wanted to stay together for a while. They did that sometimes but it was usually after sex and not before. Dean could hold out because it was what Sam wanted but he really just wanted to give it to him long and hard. They could even splash water all over the place because they didn’t have to clean up and Dean was sure the maid could use some excitement.

“Can I pee in you?”

“I’ll kill you dead.”

“You peed in me!”

“I did no such thing.” Sam scoffed. “Just stay there. I feel more whole with you inside me.”

“I bet someone at that orgy would have let me pee in them.”

“Probably.” Sam shrugged. “But would they cut your toe nails?”

“Probably not.”

“That’s right probably not. Damn things slicing up my daddy Sammy toes in the middle of the night. I think you’re part raptor.”

“Aw, daddy Sammy.” Dean frowned. “What do you think the kids are doing?”

“They better be sleeping. I bet they had fun with Michael.”

“I sure they did. Did you have fun?”

“I told you I did.” Sam smiled. “It was great.”

“Maybe we can go to the movies next week, or bowling.”

“Bowling!”

“I think that’s like a good date thing! Where else do hip young couples go?”

“To the movies or we could go to a bar. We could see a play or just go to dinner. Lots of stuff. We’ll figure something out and I bet even bowling would be fun with you.”

“I like bowling.”

“Then that’s what we’ll do, it’ll be great.”

“You know what else I like?” Dean asked as he kissed Sam’s neck. “You can guess.”

“Yes, I can.”

“May I?”

“Fine.” Sam sighed. “You talked me into it.”

Dean grinned and kissed Sam’s neck some more before he began to rock his hips under the water. It was still a little awkward but after about five minutes Sam took over and began to arch his back and twist his hips. It was pretty damn amazing and Dean didn’t care one bit about the splashing water going all over the place.

They didn’t get to attend the fantastic and chic cocktail party they were expecting and they didn’t eat in a fancy restaurant with champagne and decadent dessert, but date night ended in the exact way Dean was hoping for. He was making love to Sam, alone in hotel room where no one else was bother them and everyone else was taken care of and safe. All in all it was a success and Dean was sure bowling would be a hell of a lot of fun as well.

Well, I guess to each his own...except when it's everybody else's! Sean and Dan seemed like nice guys, but they should have realized it was a bad idea to invite John Michaels and Dean Johnson to an orgy. It's like they just assumed John and Dean were putting up a big front with their public personas, but they were totally wrong about that!

Sam shouldn't be mad at Jenwen. His heart was in the right place. I think Jensen just doesn't know Sam that well and he's so excited about the event he didn't think it through. (Okay, okay--so I'm an Acklesholic. I wouldn't scream, though. I'd be too tongue-tied!)

They got a great ending to their date night, even if it started out weird. But that whole thing with Sam singing and looking in the mirror made me a little uneasy. See, you've made me all paranoid with your habit of dropping cryptic little clues around so now I don't know if you're doing that or not! Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow night and see. ;D

I'm glad date night turned out alright in the end but I'm sort of worried about two things:-

First of all, who was it who looked up and saw Sam standing in the doorway at the orgy? Did they recognise him? Will they be indiscreet about seeing him there? And second, what was all that about Sam staring into the mirror and singing / rubbing his chest? Pretty weird, even for a Winchester!

As for the next chapter, please don't edit anything! I'm sure no-one minds if you have to post in two sections - I just prefer not to lose anything, especially if it's such an amazing story as you say it is.

Sean and Dan still make me itchy. Something about them isn't right - besides the orgy love. idk.

And what the fuck is wrong with Sam?? Is being pissed at Jensen triggering something?? Or did the person who saw him at the orgy? I am very nervous about this. Seriously.

And typical, I'll be at work when it gets posted *criez*

eep! An orgy? Jared's a wee bit slow, huh? ;)

I can kinda relate to Jensen's fanboy, that man is entirely too beautiful to be real!
