Wow, look at me updating! I've been working on this story for three weeks, but with everything else going on I couldn't find the time to finish it. Now it's done which makes me feel like things are getting back to normal.

In other news I'm doing really well with everything. I'm on a very strict schedule and doing good with my shots and this afternoon my blood sugar was finally in the range it's supposed to be in so I didn't have to give myself any extra insulin which made me feel good. Oh, and I got special diabetic socks! Yeah, they're really comfortable.

Anywho, I'm much better, doing great actually and I almost have all the tape residue scrubbed off my arms. yay!

Tuna noodle casserole sounded pretty okay but Dean could honestly never remember having it. It seemed very unlikely that John had cooked it when they were growing up and Sam admitted a strict policy against casseroles of any kind. There was a chance Dean had eaten it at some diner but if he had the experience wasn't memorable enough to form a memory. Jenny however made it once a week because it was Tony's favorite meal which probably really said something about him though Dean wasn't sure what it was.

On Tuesday morning Dean was up bright and early to take Jenny to the fabulous Piggly Wiggle in scenic Yemassee. It wasn't much of a grocery store and it couldn't compare to the Whole Foods in Westport which Sam favored but they still had everything one would need to feed a family. Very little was organic and the meat wasn't as nice as Dean preferred but it was still good enough. They certainly had tuna and noodles which was what they had gone for though Dean had to make a few quick changes to Jenny's recipe.

She grabbed regular old canned tuna which the kids had never and would never eat. They ate the solid white albacore because it was a better fish overall and it didn't have those sick dark bits that made Sam all squiggly. The cat ate that kind of tuna from a can and the kids had the albacore from a pouch. The second thing Dean changed was the amount Jenny bought. She could have a nice little casserole for her and Tony with one can so she thought one pouch would do, but Dean added two more since Winchester family meals tended to be a little epic in scale.

When they got to the pasta Jenny let Dean pick out what he thought was best. She normally used plain old elbow macaroni but Dean and the kids really liked fusilli. It was a pretty fun pasta and it didn't really matter what shape it was in for the casserole. Surprisingly they did have the fusilli though they called it "Spirals" which was probably easier for most people to understand. They also had a pack of taglitelle which Dean tossed in the cart just in case Sam changed his mind and decided to cook something for Aaron.

As he tossed the pasta into the cart Becca caught his eye for just a second and smiled. She was with them because Jenny refused to have James, Sam, or John watch her. All three had volunteered but she didn't want to trouble any of them. It was actually kind of nice for Dean because he always felt better with a baby around and if Becca made poopies he didn't have to change her. That was the most annoying thing in the world about being out with babies. If they went potty he'd have to take them into the bathroom and get them cleaned up which was just a major hassle. It was especially hard with twins which was why Dean so rarely left the house alone with Mary and Milo.

Becca was awfully cute and Dean would be lying if he said he wasn't jealous of all her rich dark hair. Jenny had some of it pulled into a tiny little ponytail on the top of her head, the same kind of ponytail Mary should have been rocking. Her hair really had grown a lot since she was born but most of the time Dean had to create the illusion of ponytails by kind of pushing all those feather light blonde strands to one location. It upset Dean sometimes because he had such wonderful dreams of fixing her hair for her and he had devoted quite a bit of time to the art of braiding. One day when she was a little older he knew she's have really long hair and everyday she was going to ask him to fix it for her and Dean really couldn't wait for that to happen.

For the rest of her ingredients Jenny seemed to realize the rule of tripling everything. She got her soup and a few fresh veggies along with a gigantic bag of frozen peas. Dean tried to suggest buying fresh peas they could shell but Jenny had to put her foot down. She was awfully adamant about the meal being fuss free. It was sort of a mix and bake deal and she didn't want to complicate it anymore which Dean sort of got but it so wasn't how Sam did things. If he was making tuna noodle casserole he would have made the soup from scratch and probably turned it into some kind of fabulous lasagna type thing.

Besides the stuff for dinner Dean had another list from Sam of stuff he needed. Dean had just been to the grocery yesterday and he got everything he was supposed to but with so many kids and so many adults something always came up and they often times needed to buy stuff on a daily basis. Mikey was in the mood for some cashews so Dean got those as well as two bags of dried pineapple for two cute little boys. Ollie was still insistent on his proscuitto but the store just didn't have it, but they did have James' Skittles which would have to be snuck in so the kids wouldn't see.

In addition to that Dean needed more eggs. He had just bought three dozen yesterday but those were pretty much gone. When he got another three dozen Jenny laughed a little and then tried to hide her face behind a gallon of fake orange juice. Dean didn't know what the hell that was about but he wanted to find out since it sort of seemed like he or Sam were being laughed at.

"What?"

"What's Sam's deal with the eggs?"

"What do you mean?" Dean asked as he looked them over. "You gotta check for cracks."

"How many eggs did he fix this morning?"

"Well…um, two for each kid, one for each baby and three per adult…so…twenty-eightish and then usually three more just in case."

"Twenty-eight eggs! He scrambled them all in a gigantic pan and then he pulled like six pounds of bacon out of the oven!"

"You would want sausage." Dean whispered. "Whore."

"And biscuits! He made biscuits from scratch!"

"How the hell else do you make biscuits!" Dean yelled back. "I don't get it!"

"Dude." Jenny said. "From a can and do you two always have insane meals like that?"

"Jenny, we have seven kids. We sort of have to quantity cook."

"Yeah, but why can't he pour a couple bowls of cereal and call it a day?"

"Because he likes cooking and a balanced breakfast is important." Dean said before he paused. "Don't be a bitch."

"Um, I'm not, it's just a little funny."

"Yeah, well…don't say that to anyone else."

Sam had enough issues with Jenny and her being around. The last thing Dean needed was for her to say something about the way he cooked which was one step above talking smack about his shoes. Dean knew Jenny was just making conversation and she wasn't being mean at all but he thought it was better to be cautious especially after the night Sam had.

He was restless all night long in a way Dean had never seen. Sam had slept the whole night through but it wasn't a sound sleep at all. He was tossing and turning which he never did. When he went to sleep he usually stayed pretty still but last night he was so all over the place that Dean couldn't even hold on to him. They ended up sleeping back to back for a while which just felt weird. When they woke up Sam still looked a little tired but he apparently didn't know why. Obviously he had some kind of bad dream but when Dean asked he just shrugged. He wasn't lying either which kind of worried Dean and he had to assume Sam was stressing a little about Jenny being around.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, you know…Sam's just sensitive about his cooking."

"And I did something to upset him." Jenny said. "I'm pretty sure I have."

"No, he just doesn't want you here."

"Oh…well, that's nothing for me to worry about."

"I mean…" Dean said before he sighed. "He's just a little threatened by you sometimes and I invited you without asking him because Mikey…"

"Wait a minute." Jenny laughed. "Sam's threatened by me? We're alone right now. Why would he stay behind if he thought I was going to seduce you?"

"That's something he has never and will never be worried about."

"Then what is it?"

Dean stopped what he was doing and then laughed a little because Jenny wasn't playing dumb at all. She honestly had no idea why Sam would be worried or threatened to have her around which sort of made Dean feel a little better about the whole thing. Since that first time they had met Sam hadn't been worried about Dean doing something with Jenny. That was just a ridiculous thought, but he was a little worried about her being around and what that meant for his relationship with Mikey.

Mikey only had two parents. Dean was his father and so was Sam and then Jenny was his mother. Mikey had been quite clear in regards to how he felt about Sam. If he had a list Sam was above Jenny and always would be. Even though he was only eight years old Mikey knew that Sam had always wanted him. He always wanted to be his parent which was something Jenny couldn't say. She'd do anything for Mikey now but there was a time when he was an inconvenient mistake for her which he had never been for Sam.

"What?"

"I think he's worried that after two weeks with us you might want to spend more time with Mikey."

"Dean, I…I always want to spend time with him. I'd love to spend more time with him, but I know my place in his life and I'm never going to be like Sam is to him."

"You don't want him to come stay with you and Tony?"

"Regularly?" Jenny asked. "I'd love a sleepover or just…maybe spending the day with me, but anything else would make me really selfish."

"Why?"

"Come on." Jenny laughed. "He's got a ninety thousand dollar piano. He's better off with you two, I realize that, I've always known that and quite frankly I'd most likely seduce you before asking for joint custody."

"You're not going to get all pissy?"

"Nah. Oh, but I am going to get like six of these tiny cups of coffee. You want one?"

"Sure." Dean smiled. "Thanks."

"Keep an eye on my baby."

Dean was really very impressed with Jenny because she was honest and listened to him without throwing some huge fit. He was sort of expecting one but she just said exactly what he wanted to hear and what Sam needed to hear. That whole cheating thing was so in the past for Sam but as long as Jenny was around he was going to worry about her being mommy. Dean was less worried because he knew in his heart Jenny wouldn't be manipulating Mikey to become a bigger part of his life and he was always going to put Sam first.

With that taken care of Dean relaxed and gave Becca several pokes in the belly just for the hell of it. She looked at him like he had lost his damn mind and then just as quickly looked away at something that caught her attention. That really made Dean miss the babies because Mary would have encouraged more poking and kisses and Milo of course would have bitch slapped him into next week and then yelled for Sam to help him out. Becca couldn't be bothered with either so Dean didn't bother with one more poke for good measure.

The grocery store which didn't have much at all did have the little complimentary coffee station some had and apparently Jenny was a fan. When Dean went shopping in Westport he almost always got a fresh cup of coffee from the little café, but all the Piggly Wiggly had was a rickety table and tiny cups. They probably held about a quarter cup of coffee and Jenny was completely serious about having six. She filled her little cup three times and downed them one after another before finally slowing down. She had two more and then refilled it again and made a second cup for Dean.

Just yesterday Dean got a little cup as a pick me up and it really wasn't very good at all. A few years ago it would have been more than sufficient but that was before Sam was grinding fresh beans daily and buying fancy flavored sugars. The coffee at the store was some generic brand but Jenny was sucking it back like it was the best thing in the world. Dean even thought that maybe they had some new stuff but after a sip he realized it was the same crap from yesterday.

"What's your damage, Heather?"

"Hmm?"

"You just downed a crap load of coffee. Do you not like Sammy's?"

"That was the best coffee I've ever had in my life." Jenny laughed. "I'm just a little tired. I don't really like sleeping alone that much and I miss Tony."

"Bed's okay?"

"It's fantastic. The whole setup in there is just perfect. I might get some drinks for the fridge."

"Yeah, you should." Dean smiled. "So you miss Tony?"

"Of course I do, he's my baby daddy. We sleep better when he's around, don't we?"

Becca was pretty damn aloof but when Jenny said the d-word she perked right up and seemed to be looking for Tony. It sort of made Dean sad since Tony wasn't in a position to take two weeks off of work. Jenny hadn't returned to work yet so it was fine for her to have a vacation with Becca. There was no way Dean would have been okay without seeing the kids for a week and it would have been equally hard to go without seeing Sam for that long either.

Jenny seemed to be handling it just fine though which Dean assumed was because Tony was kind of a pain in the ass. That was just how he felt and how Sam felt since it was pretty clear he meant the world to Jenny. There was even a chance she thought he was a pain in the ass as well but she loved him enough to ignore it. It was sort of how Dean felt about John most of the time where he wanted to backhand him into next week but he settled for a hug instead.

"He's a nice guy."

"Yeah right." Jenny said as she resumed pushing the basket. "You think he's a total pain in the ass."

"I do not!" Dean gasped. "Jeremy might have mentioned something about that."

"So he's a bit of a pain, but he takes care of us and he's not like that at home."

"Why is he still so weird around me?"

"Dean, come on. It might have only been twenty seconds…"

"Thirty!"

"Thirty seconds with us but it's still a little intimidating to him. When we first got together we were taking about our previous relationships or…thirty second encounters and you were really all I had."

"Oh, well…"

"Except for Vicki."

"Oh yeah." Dean nodded. "Well, I…wait a minute, who the hell is Vicki?"

"The girl I was with after you and before Tony." Jenny said nonchalantly. "Oh, I am so getting a box of moon pies."

"You were…"

"Yes?"

"You were a lesby?" Dean whispered. "I made you gay?"

"I told you that."

"No, you didn't!"

"And you didn't make me gay." Jenny scoffed. "I'm not Sam…or Jeremy…or Aaron…or John."

"Hey!"

Jenny grabbed her box of delicious treats and then got a few more provisions she needed. Dean thought he had heard her mention Vicki but he didn't think she was anything more than a friend. Carol mentioned female friends all the time and Dean just assumed Jenny had girl friends too. Ann had several and she had even been all over Europe with a few of them. Knowing that Jenny had been in a relationship with a woman made Dean wonder just what the hell Ann had been doing on vacation and if she was munching her way across France.

"I just met someone I really connected with and we sort of…you know."

"I thought you were…um…well after Mikey I assumed you were…you know sort of into a certain scene."

"Dean, you've been in Connecticut too long. You can say I was addicted to heroin."

"In front of the baby?"

"She doesn't know what we're talking about." Jenny whispered back. "I met Vicki at a party and we connected and sort of partied together."

"What happened to her?"

"Um…well, I called Sam so I could get some help and she didn't want help. She was using because it was fun and I was using because it made things easier."

"Mikey?"

"I didn't know his name at the time." Jenny smiled. "Look, Mountain Dew is on sale. We should get some for Jason and Michael."

"Where is she now?"

"Gone. Four for ten is a pretty good deal. I'm going to get some Pepsi."

"Jenny…"

"Diet Pepsi!"

Dean really felt like he should say something but he couldn't really think of anything. Jenny obviously didn't want to talk about it anymore which was understandable since it had been quite a while. It had to have been at least three or maybe four years since Mikey was four when he met her and she had been clean for a while then. Dean was also pretty sure that gone meant gone and not just living in another town. She must have been dead which made Dean want to get home to Sam as soon as possible.

"You like diet Pepsi?"

"I do."

"I like Pepsi." Dean shrugged. "Sammy doesn't like soft drinks in the house because of the kids. Too much caffeine and sugar."

"You could get a two-liter and keep it with Jeremy."

"Nah, he'd know. He always knows when I get all jacked up on sugar then he'll yell at me."

"He's sort of strict with you, isn't he?"

"Maybe, but he's really just looking out for me, making sure I'm okay."

"That's sweet. Oh, I should pick up some Hot Pockets for when Tony gets in. He loves Hot Pockets."

"Shut up!" Dean yelled. "You let him eat Hot Pockets?"

"Yeah, he's a big boy."

"What kind? If you say cheeseburger I might need to go change my pants."

"The cheeseburger is a favorite."

"If you buy them…" Dean whispered. "Can Mikey and I come visit you later under the guise of playing and then I can eat one?"

"Seriously?" Jenny asked. "You're serious?"

"Totally…hey, what else do you fix for dinner?"

"Um…sometimes I'll buy a big bag of chicken fingers and make Kraft mac and cheese. Also Bagel Bites or like pasta covered in cheese."

"Dude." Dean sighed. "You are so lucky you made me gay."

"I thought that was Sam…"

"Well, yeah, but your weirdo girl parts sealed the deal. If they hadn't I totally would have married you and gained three hundred pounds."

"What a life that would be." Jenny said. "We could order pizza once a week and eat it on the sofa while I rubbed your feet."

"You rub his feet too!"

"Oh, yeah." Jenny laughed. "And you should see what I do when he brings me flowers."

"You totally rim him, don’t you?"

"Sick! I'm not sticking my tongue in someone's ass!"

"Oh, you poor thing." Dean sighed. "I was almost completely seduced."

"But I…"

"Pass! Come on, Becca. Let's go check out so I can get home to Sammy."

"But I…"

"I say pass!"

Jenny started to list all the other crap she could cook and how she gave a great backrub, but if rim jobs weren't an option while they were sitting around and watching television Dean wasn't interested. Sam not only rubbed his feet, but he cut his toenails, cooked for him, and could munch butt like it was going out of style. Dean also figured he'd live a lot longer with Sam since he'd most likely be dead after a month of eating Jenny's food.

On the wall of the office in Connecticut Sam had a certificate that had been signed by Dean, Jeremy, and Aaron naming him the best of the four Winchester brothers. Dean had signed it right away since Jeremy and Aaron had yet to fuck him in the ass or at least give him a hand job. Jeremy as expected was a total bitch about the whole thing and initially refused to sign it but them Sam guilted him with a little reminded about rent free living and laundry service. Aaron had sighed the certificate without a fuss which was the only reason Sam decided to make him a complicated bolognaise dinner for when he arrived in South Carolina.

Whenever Sam was cooking something for the first time he would read a couple versions of the same recipe just to see how different people were doing it. He had a pretty good idea of what was going into the bolognaise but Aaron was a sweet guy and he had been asking pretty nicely for a while so it had to be special. That meant Sam had to call in the big research guns, which he did by plopping Evan down on a barstool with the laptop on the counter. He was Sam's partner in cooking crime and if there was any hope of preparing the perfect bolognaise they'd have to come to a consensus on what that entailed first.

Evan thought the whole thing was way too "persnickety" which Sam agreed with completely even if he had no idea what it meant. Apparently persnickety in relation to cooking meant that everything was diced way too fine and Evan thought that chopping a bunch of carrots, onions, and celery was way too much work for Aaron who wasn't nearly as attractive as Dean. Sam couldn't argue with that so he made an executive decision with Evan to let the food processor do all their chopping.

The next problem they came across was the inclusion of ground veal. Evan didn't know what that was and unfortunately Sam didn't either. For the record he did know but had he mentioned supple baby cows Evan would have never stopped crying and promptly ran outside to tell Mikey all about it. Evan did suggest they widen their internet search to find out just what veal was but Sam pulled rank and decided on an all beef bolognaise which seemed more traditional anyway.

The last decision they had to make was between milk and cream to finish the sauce. The recipes they read were pretty evenly split and Sam didn't know what was best. The milk was lighter and they always had it around but some purist argued that the cream was more traditional. To make things easier Sam was just going to let Evan decide but he said he was the very spirit of vexation about the whole thing and Aaron was going to have to do a lot more dancing if he wanted to eat something so fancy on a regular basis.

As the two most logical members of the family Sam and Evan eventually decided to split the cream and milk right down the middle. Half and half probably would have worked as well but Sam wrote down cream on his grocery list for next week and shut the laptop. That earned an exasperated sigh from Evan and then a couple of kisses as well since all hard work in the house had to be rewarded.

They had settled the problem of cooking for Aaron which Evan really liked since Sam had promised him they could bake a big chocolate cake for dessert. He loved baking above all else because he got to mix and measure and Sam always enjoyed baking with him. Since Jenny was cooking Sam thought it was only fair he make dessert and was just about to start when he looked over and noticed Mary walking all on her own.

Since Sam was busy with Evan, Mary and Milo were on the ground in their little baby pen. Milo obviously didn't approve of Sam not holding or kissing him because he was running around like a chicken with it's head chopped off yelling as loud as he could. He was still pretty shaky on his feet but he figured out how to run in a circle and seemed quite happy with himself.

The running obviously wasn't bothering Mary but all the yelling for attention was. Sam saw her move out the corner of his eye and then he turned just in time to see her push herself up. She had previously shown no sign of walking at all but she must have been practicing in her crib at night because she barely wobbled. She was very steady on her feet as she walked to the edge of the little pen and waited for Milo to make the rounds. It was pretty large so it took a few seconds for him to make it to where she was waiting but he got there and when he did she knocked his ass flat on the ground.

Sam was too shocked to even applaud or get excited by the walking and just as soon as she had gotten up she was sitting back down like she hadn't done a thing. Unfortunately she had pretty much just clotheslined Milo and he was screaming as loud as he could since he landed square on his butt. It was a Sam shaped butt if ever there was one and those were very delicate things. At first he didn't look like he was going to scream too much since he was used to falling down but then he let loose.

"Mary." Evan frowned. "You know Milo loves daddy and he gets excited."

"Abwahfahbah!"

"How long has she been walking!"

"I dunno, daddy. I thought she wasn't going to since she didn't want to steal focus from Milo…you know because he's little and with red hair."

"Huh." Sam whispered. "Um…"

"Dahdah!"

"I'm coming!" Sam yelled as he moved Evan off his lap. "Mary, that was a good effort but let's not knock anyone down."

Mary narrowed her eyes at Milo and then patted her little baby that was in it's special crib. Her acting out made a little more sense since the baby was obviously trying to nap while Milo was screaming. She was as protective of it as Milo was of his alphabet book so it stood to reason she was going to do whatever it took to make her baby happy even if it made big brother sad.

He stopped screaming and crying as soon as Sam gave him kisses and rubbed his pumpkin which thankfully wasn't broken. While he was reassuring Milo, Sam was watching Mary pretty closely and it was obvious she was trying her best to not look over even if she wanted to. It was the same kind of game she played with Dean where she wanted to flirt but ladies didn't do that so she had to play it cool. She'd glance sideways and Dean would make kissey faces she tried to ignore which was always really cute. Trying to ignore Milo didn't really work because she eventually turned her head and looked up at him with a little frown on her face.

Though Sam was never going to mention it out loud for fear of being retaliated against seeing her knock Milo down was actually a little funny. She hadn't hurt him at all and he was especially cute when he thought his butt might be in jeopardy. Sam didn't want Mary to think she was in trouble so he decided to think extra loud about why it wasn't a good idea to knock people over. He also thought extra loud about how proud of her he was for letting Milo have the spotlight for a little while. She really seemed to enjoy that and smiled a little before standing again to walk over and check in with Evan who was leaning over the gate offering his hand.

"Mary, we're making some ridiculous dinner for uncle Aaron."

"Bwahbah."

"Right?" Evan sighed. "Not even as hot as daddy but it's nice to do things for our siblings. Is he okay, daddy?"

"Yeah, he's fine." Sam smiled. "Who has a cute butt!"

"Bwah…"

"Aww, it's okay, she didn't mean it."

Milo nodded and then buried his face in Sam's neck since clearly getting knocked down was the worst thing he had ever been through. He was going to milk it for quite a while and unfortunately Sam had a cake and lunch to make so he didn't have time to hold him. Milo sort of liked John though so Sam decided to take him outside with Mary where the rest of the kids were. When Sam picked Mary up and was holding her next to Milo he looked a little peeved but he sort of always looked like that whenever she was around even if she hadn't done anything. He was pretty impartial to her but Mary never let it bother her because she was always smiling at whoever wanted to chat or play.

Sam was a little upset that Mary's first steps were a bit anti-climatic and he was very upset with himself for not noticing that she was working on walking. It made him feel like a bit of a negligent parent but then he was always watching the babies or someone else was. There was no way Mary had really just taken her first steps because she was way too steady on her feet and even Evan seemed to imply she had been mobile for a while just maybe in private. The only place she could have done that was in her crib at night which wasn't exactly the best place to learn to walk.

Dean was going to be upset too but since she had walked Sam felt a little better when he thought about her walking more. In a way it was probably okay that Dean hadn't been there since neither of them had been around for her real first steps. Either way it didn't really matter because she had tons of milestones left and Sam was always going to be proud of her regardless of how she wanted to reach them.

Outside there was quite a bit of activity going on and some of it seemed very interesting to Jason. He was sitting in the grass under one of the larger trees watching while Oinkers squealed like he was about to be served up with some apple sauce. He had two squeals both of which were very different. His scared squealed was very high and Sam had only heard it once when Apple Juice was chasing him. His other squeal was his delighted squeal which sounded an awful lot like Dean did right after he got his nut. Ollie was making Oinkers squeal with glee and Jason was incredibly focused on trying to figure out what was going on.

"Mr. Sam, what is he doing to that pig?"

"Isn't it obvious?"

"No." Jason whispered. "I thought he was just giving him a little bath."

"Ask him." Sam laughed. "He'll tell you."

"Alright." Jason said before he stood up. "Mr. Ollie, what are you doing to Oinkers?"

"Wubbin' him." Ollie answered. "Wit a world's most exotic cweams an senshawus lotions."

When Ollie rubbed some more lotion onto Oinker's back he squealed so loud that Mary got all alert and leaned out of Sam's arms to check out the situation. Oinkers was on a towel after his little bath and Ollie had his special pig care bucket which really did contain the most exotic creams and lotions known to man. It was actually just something Dean picked up at the feed store but they told Ollie it was so fancy even the king of France couldn't afford it which was exactly what Oinkers needed.

"What kind of lotions?"

"Sensuous." Sam whispered. "Haven't you ever seen pig massage?"

"I have now." Jason nodded. "Learn something new each day."

"Daddy Sammy!" Ollie yelled. "When a wub daddy make sure ya get a little legs. See what a do?"

"I do, baby. Oinkers' legs are a little longer than daddy's though."

"Yeah. A don spank Oinkahs, but a won you to spank daddy."

"I think he'll like that." Evan said. "A lot."

"Agreed. I'll bring your piggy bucket in when we go back inside."

"Thank you, daddy."

"You're welcome."

"I was supervising." Jason said. "That's sort of what I do, I supervise things."

"Yeah?" Sam smiled. "And did you enjoy helping Todd this morning?"

"I sure did! Nothing like some hard work to get you going. Don't tell Michael though. I…well, I fibbed and told him I wasn't going to do anything."

"Your secret's safe with us." Sam said. "What else is going on out here?"

"Well, Mikey is writing in a book, I think it's a journal, and Ethan was taking Petunia for a walk with James."

"Mmhmm, I'm familiar. Where's Jeremy?"

"Oh." Jason said. "Well, he had to call Aaron and I guess he had to talk to him in private because he went back to our house."

"I bet he did."

Jason laughed awkwardly and then sort of stared off at nothing. Sam wasn't sure if he knew what was going on with Jeremy and Aaron but he did supervise a lot and a big part of that was paying attention. He had to have known and not had a problem with it which wasn't that surprising considering all the other stuff he knew about them.

Sam didn't see Ethan anywhere but he was safe with James. Mikey was sitting on the little bench near the big oak tree and he was pretty busy writing in a notebook. His journal was a new thing he was doing which was completely different from the journal Alex made him keep for school. One was scholastic and the other was completely personal. It really made Sam curious about what he might be writing but he was never going to peek even though he knew Mikey was stashing the little book under the mattress at night.

John was sitting close by on a blanket and he readily accepted Mary, Milo, and Evan who were all very interested in hanging out with him. Evan wasn't going to stay because there was baking to be done but Mary and Milo both got comfortable against John's stomach. Sam was a little tempted to sit down for a while as well but he had such a crappy night's sleep he wasn't sure if he'd be able to get up again.

"See what I did?" John whispered as he nodded towards Ollie. "I'm watching him but he's off by the house."

"Uh, yeah?"

"So it's like Jason's really watching him."

"You are a smart man, daddy." Sam winked. "So, Mary just walked and knocked Milo over."

"You walked!"

"Wabah." Mary sighed. "Bwahbahdah."

"Get out of town!"

"She walked like she's been doing it for a while." Sam said. "You…you've never seen her walk before have you?"

"No. Why does it matter as long as she's walking?"

"Evan said she wasn't walking so it could be like Milo's thing."

"But that's nice, daddy." Evan smiled. "You know Mary is a pretty big deal and there's a fair amount of fuss over her being a girl."

"She's like daddy." Mikey said from behind them. "She won't like you making a big deal out of her…ever."

"But it is a big deal."

"Well we know that." Mikey whispered. "But be cool about it or she'll get nervous."

"It's like…" Evan said before he sighed. "It's like how I'm the best dancer and baker in the entire world. I'm not going to go around telling everyone that. I'm going to be cool."

"I see…"

"Like you." John said. "With your male modeling career."

"I'm actually a writer, dad." Sam laughed. "I…"

"Yeah, but you don't have to tell everyone about how you fill out the underwear because that's just bragging."

"Grandpa." Mikey frowned. "Are you just looking for an excuse to bring up your big junk?"

"Sorta."

"Mikey." Sam said as he sat down on the bench. "She knew how to walk. Has she been practicing?"

"I guess so, daddy. Maybe at night?"

"Is like Mr. King The Beans." Ollie said as he walked over. "You don even know a pwacticin' I do!"

"Do tell, Beanie."

"Daddy, a do all a this stuff!"

Ollie did quite a bit of dancing with his hands on his belly. It was pretty sexy and obviously he had been practicing hard because as soon as he found his groove Dean and Jenny made it back from the grocery store. Ollie knew it was all on him so he got to go first for kisses and then everyone else got smoochies including Ethan who returned from his walk with James and the goat. Sam had to wait his turn for all the loving but it was worth it because Dean was better than ever and his kisses were even a little more forceful.

"I guess you missed me."

"You know it." Dean grinned. "Did a miss me?"

"Maybe." Sam smiled. "That woman didn't try to pervert you, did she?"

"A little."

"She won't go where I go." Sam whispered. "And she sure as hell won't stay there."

"Mmmm!"

"What are you two talking about!" Ethan yelled. "You're going where?"

"Never you mind!" Dean said. "You take that goat on a walk?"

"Daddy, you wouldn't believe the stuff he ate!"

"He's quite the gardener." James said. "Voracious."

"Like all Winchesters." Dean said. "Anything happen while I was gone?"

"Mary walked." Sam whispered. "But apparently…"

"Mary!" Dean yelled. "Baby girl!"

"Dean…"

"What was it like?" Dean asked as he picked her up. "Was she holding on to anything or…"

"It was…"

"Daddy wants to know everything!"

Mary maybe wanted to play it cool but that obviously didn't apply to Dean. He was making the biggest deal out of her and she was laughing, smiling, and patting his handsome face to get more congratulatory kisses. Sam did wish her first steps had gone differently and that none of the kids felt the need to stand down so someone else could stand up, but just because he didn't have the memory he wanted didn't mean Dean couldn't.

"She was in the pen and just pulled herself up to do a little cruising."

"Was she shaky?"

"A little." Sam nodded. "But she's a fast learner. I bet she'll be steady real soon."

"You are daddy's bright shining star!" Dean smiled. "More kisses! All your kisses!"

"Dahdah!" Mary laughed. "Ahwahbay!"

"Yes!" Dean nodded. "That's right!"

Sam laughed and gave Mary another kiss which infuriated Milo. John gave him some smooches though which he pretended were a hassle but no one was buying that. He loved affection from Sam the most but all affection was good. Mary loved affection from anyone but Sam was pretty sure affection from Dean was the best to her. That was something Sam was in complete agreement with.

A big boy breakfast was one thing but then Sam made a big lunch as well. They had sandwiches made with real fried chicken and not some healthy BS cooked in the oven. Sam even fried some French fries which he hadn't done in years. Dean had a sneaking suspicion that something was going on but he kept his pretty mouth shut instead of asking questions.

Between lunch and dinner Sam took him into the bedroom for a pretty heavy makeout session which included quite a bit of inappropriate petting and just a touch of inside the undies backdoor action. Dean still didn't say anything mostly because he was really enjoying himself and he was still positively stuffed from lunch. When he was getting his jollies and full very little mattered to him at all.

Dean wasn't dumb at all but he didn't figure out what was actually going on until Jenny started fixing her special dinner for everyone. She was mixing up the casserole in a big bowl before pouring it into a bigger pan and Sam was busy with Evan frosting a towering six layer chocolate cake. He always made dessert but it was never quite so grand and it was obvious that he was trying his best to make sure the kids and everyone else knew he was the chef in the family. He wasn't going to be outdone by Jenny at all who had no desire to one up him anyway.

The casserole was interesting and it was more than palatable but the kids didn't really know what to think about it. They were polite and said they liked it but Dean could see all of them trying to figure out just what the hell Jenny had tried to accomplish. Mikey didn't like canned soups at all because of the preservatives. If he was eating soup he wanted it to be something Sam made and more often than not he preferred lighter clear soups made from broths instead of cream. Ethan and Evan weren't big fans of mushrooms and they always thought when things were chopped too small that Sam or someone else was trying to sneak something by them. The mushrooms in the soup were pretty finely diced and Ethan in particularly didn't approve of that.

Ollie didn't seem to care either way but he did look a little confused as to why everything was mixed together. He was a professional eater and liked to have things separate like a tuna steak, some noodles, and then peas and soup on the side. He didn't complain about the meal at all but Dean figured that was mostly due to everything being smothered in lots of cheese which was a favorite of his.

The most important thing was that everyone was very nice about the meal and thanked Jenny while they ate and once they were done. The servings weren't as big as they normally would have been which Dean assumed was because of Sam's big breakfast and lunch. James always had seconds but he just had one little plate which Dean noticed but Jenny most likely didn't.

To anyone on the outside it might have looked like Sam was actively trying to sabotage Jenny's dinner with his own breakfast and lunch but Dean thought that was a little far fetched. He had absolutely made a stellar dessert on purpose but trying to fill everyone up before dinner probably hadn't been completely intentional. Dean didn't want to think that Sam was that threatened by Jenny but if he was he had to find out which he planned on doing while Jeremy and John did the dishes.

They were going to wait about a half hour to eat the cake which Dean thought was more than enough time to talk to Sam. He didn't even have to suggest it because Sam nodded towards the bedroom and Dean was so sure they were going to chat. Sam however had different ideas and as soon as the door was shut he was down on his knees and Dean was getting a world class blowjob. That sealed the deal as far as Dean was concerned because if he was getting random head before dessert Sam must have been incredibly threatened by poor little Jenny who was just trying to be nice.

When Sam wanted something he always got it so Dean knew better than to fight him off. He just leaned against the wall and let Sam work his magic. He was pretty damn persistent and Dean was squealing in just under a minute. He didn't always come that quickly but Sam was just voracious and he was using his teeth a lot like a good husband. It was incredible but nothing Dean actually needed. He didn't need surprise head, big meals, or fancy desserts. All he needed was Sam. That was all he had ever needed but obviously Sam was remembering one night when Dean went looking for someone else.

"That was a big one." Sam said as he wiped at his mouth. "Thanks."

"Thank you, Sammy."

"You can thank me later. Help me up."

"I planned on thanking you." Dean said as he pulled him to his feet. "Can we talk?"

"About what?"

"Jenny. Sammy, she doesn't want anything from us or Mikey and I don't want anything from her."

"What are you talking about?" Sam laughed. "I'm fine with her here."

"Really? So these two huge meals and this gigantic cake have nothing to do with her?"

"Not that I'm aware of."

"Are you're not threatened by her for any reason?"

"Uh, no." Sam smiled. "Why would I be?"

"Maybe because she gave me something you'll never be able to no matter how strong or rich you are."

Dean saw something flash in Sam's eyes that told him he just hit the nail on the head. Sam was complicated and there was a long history of issues with Jenny but it all boiled down to one big thing. He was worried that she might want to spend more time with Mikey but they had the final say in whether or not that happened. If Mikey ever brought it up Dean was more than prepared to put his foot down but the likelihood of that ever happening was incredibly slim. Dean could be the bad guy to spare Sam the pain because nothing would hurt more than being Mikey's backseat parent especially if he was backseat to Jenny.

The whole major issue was the fact that Jenny hadn't done a thing besides leaning against a brick wall and she made Dean a father. Sam couldn't do that without the help of a woman, a doctor, drugs, and procedures. Dean treasured the twins and the babies just like they were his own but they were still biologically Sam's children with someone else. He couldn't have Dean's kids in the way he wanted to which Jenny had done without even trying.

"I'm pretty sure I gave you three sons and a daughter."

"Not like she has Sammy. Not in the way I know you'd love to."

"That's a little below the belt." Sam said as he walked towards the door. "If I had a problem with her she wouldn't be here. She wouldn't be living in the same town as us either."

"Sammy, talk to me."

"I don't…"

"Sammy." Dean smiled. "Come on."

In Vermont, in the kitchen, there was a drawer they had that always stuck. Dean had taken it out three or four times and tried to sand something down but it still wouldn't come out smoothly. To get it open he always had to jam something into it and pry it a little at which point the whole damn thing usually came flying out spilling the contents all over the floor. Sam was like that drawer sometimes because he was hard to get open but when Dean pried he spilled all over the place.

He was quiet for a second and then walked away from the door to sit on the edge of the bed. Dean joined him and just waited. He knew Sam was about to get into it and if they had to skip dessert that was just fine. Dean was already way too full for more than a sliver of cake but he was going to have to eat it anyway because Sam had made it special with Evan and they wouldn't approve of anyone not eating their hard work.

"Was it cheeseburger?"

"What?"

"Cheeseburger." Sam said again. "You had a Hot Pocket before lunch."

"Wha…I…how could you possibly know that?" Dean asked. "I brushed my teeth while I was still swallowing it."

"I just know." Sam sighed. "She let's Tony eat a bunch of crap, doesn't she?"

"Yeah."

"You can't eat that because then the kids will want them and they're full of preservatives and that weird cheese stuff always makes your stomach hurt."

"Oh, it does not, I…"

Dean paused right when he felt his stomach bubbling up and groaning some. Had he just eaten Sam's food that wouldn't have happened. It was the fake cheese sauce in the Hot Pockets that always made him a little sick to the stomach. It just did something to him which he never really put together with eating something in particular but Sam obviously had which was why he had banned the Hot Pockets from the house. He had done it to look out for Dean and to establish healthy eating habits in the kids so they could live long happy lives and not because he was a food Nazi like everyone thought.

"Remember when you were working at the garage?"

"Barely."

"I would always start cooking at four." Sam smiled. "I knew you'd be home at ten minutes after five and we could eat at five thirty after you showered. I was so nervous around Mikey and I thought I'd be the house husband."

"That's what I wanted."

"And I guess I thought cooking would be all I was good at. That's my job, I do the cooking and I was a little worried about her cooking for our kids."

"And?"

"And." Sam sighed. "I love you more than she ever will, more than anyone will ever be able to and I can't do what she did for you. I should be able to. I want to know what it's like to have your kid."

"You really want to go through all that pain, Sammy?" Dean asked. "I think it's much better to get a handjob and write a check for…"

"I would love all that pain when I knew what I was getting out of it."

"Well…"

"For you." Sam added. "What I'd be doing for you."

"I don't need that from you though. The twins and the babies couldn't mean more to me than they already do."

"I know that."

"Would you feel better if I told you how I made Jenny gay?" Dean smiled. "Hmm? A lesby?"

"You're just saying that to make me feel better."

"I'm so not. She told me she was a professional muncher for like two years."

"Do…do you think she was the bottom?"

"I'm positive." Dean laughed. "She weighs like ten pounds soaking wet."

Dean got a little smile so Sam got a little kiss for being a big boy. They could have talked about it again but Dean honestly had absolutely nothing new to say. Sam was never going to birth a baby all by himself and that was something he'd have to live with. He'd also have to live with Jenny being in their lives because that's what Mikey wanted and Sam was never going to put himself before his kid. He was going to deal with it which Dean actually thought was a good thing since eventually he might get over it completely.

As they were kissing Dean heard a little knock on the bedroom door. He thought for sure it was one of the kids because it was so light but it was coming from up high. He had already gotten his blowjob so he called for whoever it was to come on in which was a mistake since Jeremy walked in and sat right on Sam's lap. That sort of pissed Dean off because he was apparently too short and funny looking to take Aaron's place but Sam was just right.

"Put it in my butt."

"No." Sam sighed. "Aaron's a strict bottom. I'm not topping."

"Who said anything about topping?" Jeremy asked. "The it to which I referred was your fist."

"That is hot." Dean whispered. "I knew you fuckers were kinky!"

"Get off of me you pervert."

"Not until you rim me!"

"Get off!" Sam yelled as he shoved him. "What do you want? We're being intimate."

"Yeah, I can smell that load on your breath." Jeremy winked. "Anyway, I felt that you were feeling bad and I came to check on you."

"Oh…well now I feel bad about not fisting you."

"Him!" Dean yelled. "What about your Deans?"

"Couple points I wanted to make." Jeremy said as he closed the door. "First of all when you two have another kid I can just swap you out with whoever carries it. You'll get to give birth and have tits for a while."

"Uh…"

"And the only reason Jenny is here is because she brought Becca." Jeremy whispered. "Mikey wanted her here because Mary likes having her around. It's sort of a sausage fest up in this piece."

"What do you mean?" Dean asked. "I don't…"

"Well, there are some big hickory sticks and some little smokies but still…"

"Not that butt for brains!"

Dean had heard and understood what Jeremy said but he still wanted him to repeat it which he did. He usually knew what was going on so Dean believed him about why Mikey had wanted Jenny there especially because wanting to do something for Mary was totally something he would do. That really seemed to make a big difference in Sam's mood but he was obviously more focused on pushing out a penguin. Dean thought it was an ideal solution to give Sam what he wanted but at the same time it was just plain weird and their lives were weird enough.

"Could you swap me with someone and then Dean could get me pregnant?"

"Sure!"

"What!" Dean yelled. "I don't…Sammy…I'm not going to sleep with a woman even if you're in the drivers seat."

"Why not?"

"Because it's too weird for me."

"I can't believe you're grossed out by girly fishy bits." Jeremy scoffed. "Some people."

"Shut up, you freak. Why do you always have the worst ideas ever?"

"This is an awesome idea!"

"Dean." Sam said. "What if it was just when we had the baby? I could be there and you could coach me."

Sam looked really hopeful about everything so Dean couldn't say just how fucked up he thought the whole thing was. Sleeping with a woman was absolutely out of the question and he was a little offended that Sam was okay with it, but he was going to think long and hard about the unconventional delivery plan. He wanted Sam to be happy but it was bizarre. Dean didn't want to feel Sam next to him and see a woman even if it was Amy, Ann, or Jenny.

That was something else Dean wasn't looking forward to discussing because he was almost positive when the time came he wanted to have another child with Jenny. He was also coming around on the idea of her carrying the baby which worried him but Becca was perfect. For that to happen Sam was going to have to really work on his issues with her.

While Dean was thinking about it Jeremy was watching him very closely and his eyes went wide as soon as Jenny came up. He actually took a step back which Sam of course had to notice. He looked a little worried and Jeremy looked shocked and a tiny bit alarmed. Dean knew it was going to be a big deal when he said he wanted to have another baby with Jenny but he never thought Jeremy would be so weird about it.

It was really something Dean had struggled with because his two options were Amy and Jenny for eggs. In a way it was like choosing between Ollie and Mikey and he had chosen one over the other. He would have loved another Ollie but the symmetry won out in the end and he felt like their first born should match their last born. No matter what happened in the future Dean knew one more baby was their limit even if Sam was sure to cry and beg about ten more of them.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked. "Dean?"

"Uh…if you want to do that when we have a new baby it's fine."

"Thank you."

"No problem, Sammy." Dean nodded. "Uh, Jeremy, so does Mikey not want Jenny here?"

"What? Oh, no, he does want her here but he wanted her here mostly because of Mary. She likes Becca Dean."

"You don't think he'd ever want to like live with her, do you?"

"Sam." Jeremy laughed. "Come on. If he lived with her who would take care of the kids? That ginger haired bastard back home?"

"I told you not to call him that!" Dean yelled. "He's my baby!"

"He's a tramp."

Dean rolled his eyes and then punched Jeremy in the stomach for talking smack about Michael when he wasn't around to defend himself. With all their worrying about Mikey and Jenny they hadn't considered him never leaving the rest of the kids. Michael was the oldest but Mikey had been around the longest and he took his job very seriously. There might come a time when he wanted to sleep over at Jenny's house but he was never going to spend more than a day there.

Hearing it from Jeremy seemed to really put Sam at ease and Dean felt better about the whole thing as well. He honestly hadn't been that worried about it but when Sam worried some of it always made it's way over and Dean would inevitably start to think way too much. It was a waste of time and energy to worry about Jenny anymore so Dean decided that he wasn't going to do it. He was going to let Mikey spend time with his mother and let Mary enjoy some girl time with Becca which really was sort of cute.

"Bitch! Don't punch me!"

"Don't be a cock and balls." Dean sighed. "I miss Mifoo."

"Me too." Sam frowned. "Without him here there's no hip young thing to keep up abreast of the latest trends."

"What about me?"

"You?" Sam asked. "We already know how to rape people to death and that's all you're good at."

"Pft! Listen, I'm going to need you to make out with me just a little bit."

"You really need to give it up." Dean said. "He'll hurt you. You can't handle a real man."

"I so can!"

"Pass." Sam said as he stood up. "You've been with a woman in the past year. I can't get mixed up with that kind of lifestyle."

"Besides I heard you and Aaron had a private phone call earlier."

"What?"

"A phone jack." Dean whispered. "Kinky little social workers and priesteses."

"That?" Jeremy laughed. "He went to the MAC store and wanted to know what kind of moisturizer to buy."

"Re…really?"

"Yeah."

"I'm so proud!" Dean beamed. "Aw, what did you tell him?"

"I call him a silly faggot."

"It's Moisturelush! As a male model I always have to look my best."

"And it's cheaper than Lancome."

"I am so butch right now." Jeremy whispered. "I'm the butchest brother there is."

"Me!" Sam yelled. "That's me!"

"Yes, clearly it is." Jeremy nodded. "Nothing says real man like forty-four dollar an ounce tinted moisturizer."

Jeremy had a point again but then so did Sam. He made a fist and punched him in the stomach again before walking to the door to go serve up some cake. Dean stayed behind with Jeremy and he knew he probably should have talked to him about who was carrying their next baby but instead he took him into the bathroom and slathered him in moisturizer which he admitted made him feel kind of pretty. Dean then called him a faggot and punched him one more time just for the hell of it.

It's great to have you back and posting, Adam! Glad to know you're on the mend, and doing well with the meds.

So much to love in this chapter - Mary doing her thing, Evan helping Sam in the kitchen (that always makes me smile in a goofy way), and Jeremy being as daft as ever :) I hope Jeremy's concern of Dean's choice of future baby mama was just surprise, and not a hint at something more worrying :-/

I miss Mifoo, too *sniff*

Oh, Adam, I had my fingers and toes crossed that you'd have a story up--and not just because I've missed them, but because it would mean you're feeling better!

But of course, I have missed the stories, and this one is really good. All the things I like--funny and sweet, the kids being amazing, and a little hint of angst just for seasoning. That Mary! She's got all the men buffaloed. She's always going to do things her own way, I bet.

So Sam would like to at least experience part of giving birth to a baby for Dean. That is so sweet, if a little hard to wrap my head around. Still, it wouldn't be anything that couldn't happen in this world you've created, and I'm sure you could make it work.

Anyway, take care of yourself and thank you! It's like getting home again after being away somewhere and feeling homesick.

*hugs*

WELCOME BACK!!! Yay, more Mikey!

I'm glad you're feeling better Adam and it will get easier too.

This chapter rocked!! So Mary is like her Daddy Dean with watching out for Milo and letting him be the diva. Too bad that Dean missed her walking. But now I'm worried about Jeremy's reaction to Dean wanting Jenny to be the baby momma. And I can see Sam's point and, while weird, giving birth may settle that question down in Sam's mind once and for all. The pain sure as hell will.

Yay, you're back in business. I'm glad you feel better and like you have a handle on things health-wise. I adored Dean and Jenny's shopping trip and their sharing. It's interesting about Sam's insecurities, somehow we never expect such an in control kinda guy to feel inadequate in any area. This just makes him more human.

Yay! Two wonderful surprises today - one, you're obviously feeling so much better, which is great news and two, a new Mikey story!

Mary's a star as we always knew she would be - now she's on her feet she needs to turn her mind to getting that hair grown, before Dean explodes with the frustration of not being able to braid it properly.

So Sam wants to give birth to Dean's baby? I can understand why he might want to do that, but also why Dean's a little hesitant about the idea of Jeremy swapping him out with the mother - even in the weird and wonderful world of the Winchesters, that's quite an intervention. But I'm sure you'll think of a way to make it work if you want to!

Oh yes, Ollie massaging Oinkahs "Wit a world's most exotic cweams an senshawus lotions"? Priceless.
